Editing the registry can be hazardous to your system. Proceed with caution and make sure to back up your registry before making any changes.
Result: All recent files and automatic folder suggestions are removed. Manually pinned folders will remain.
If you want to keep the Quick Access section but stop it from automatically listing your activity, follow these steps: Open (via the three dots in Explorer).
If you just have a few embarrassing or unwanted specific folders in Quick Access:
Click the button next to "Clear File Explorer history" to wipe existing history. Click Apply . 3. Unpin Specific Items
