Superman confronts Bizarro at the Shuster Mines. Instead of fighting, Clark tries to reason with him, realizing Bizarro is in agony and acting out of confusion. Just as Bizarro begins to calm down, Anderson detonates a device that supercharges Bizarro with red solar energy, causing a massive explosion that buries both Superman and Bizarro.
