The story begins in the Central Park Zoo as the animals prepare for a festive Christmas celebration. While the rest of the zoo is buzzing with holiday spirit, Private notices that Ted the Polar Bear is spending the holiday alone and looking quite miserable. Driven by his characteristic empathy, Private decides to sneak out of the zoo to buy a gift for the lonely bear. However, the mission quickly goes sideways when Private is mistaken for a chew toy by a relentless poodle and kidnapped by a high-strung grandmother named Nana. christmas penguins madagascar
