Shell:startup [hot] Here
The Task Manager interface only allows you to toggle apps on or off. It does not allow you to add new apps easily or run custom scripts. For adding custom scripts, portable applications, or specific files to open on boot, shell:startup remains the superior method.
While shell:startup is a legacy feature from older versions of Windows, it still works perfectly in Windows 10 and 11. However, Windows now offers a more integrated way to manage startup applications: shell:startup
