If you are currently using v2.1.6, keep Premiere Pro 23.2 or earlier installed. Upgrading to Premiere Pro 24+ will replace it with v3, which has a different interface and language model (generally more accurate but requires occasional cloud validation).

Click “Create Captions” – choose preset or custom style. Captions appear as a new track in timeline. If you are currently using v2
