Follow these steps to set up a single-app kiosk in Windows 11:
To test the configuration, sign out of your administrator account. On the login screen, you will see the kiosk user account. When you select it, Windows will launch directly into the specified app in a restricted, full-screen interface. The user cannot access the desktop, the Start menu, taskbar, or any other applications. To exit the kiosk mode for maintenance, press and sign in with your administrator credentials.
If you select Microsoft Edge, you will be prompted to choose how the browser behaves. You can select "As a digital signage or interactive display," which launches Edge in full-screen mode, or "As a public browser," which allows you to define which websites are allowed, blocking navigation to any other URLs. Configure this according to your needs.
