The story began during the Great Famine of the third year of Elara's reign. While inspecting the struggling agricultural outposts near the Whispering Gorge, the Queen’s royal caravan was halted by a landslide. Amidst the rubble, royal scouts discovered a lone goblin infant, abandoned and shivering in the damp shadows.
