Pinnacle — Studio 12 Ultimate ((link))

Remember having to render previews constantly? Or the occasional crash right before exporting? Still, it had some great features for its time – multi-cam, surround sound, and that blue/silver UI.

Pinnacle Studio 12 Ultimate was the apex of this philosophy. The "Ultimate" designation was not a hollow marketing term; it unlocked a treasure trove of capabilities that felt revolutionary at the time. The most significant inclusion was the Hollywood FX plugin. For the average user, creating a 3D rotating cube transition or a shattering glass effect was usually impossible. Studio 12 Ultimate, however, democratized these visual pyrotechnics. It allowed users to drag and drop elaborate 3D transitions that would have taken hours to keyframe manually in professional software. It was a program that encouraged spectacle, turning a simple family vacation video into a cinematic event.

Anyone else cut their teeth on Pinnacle Studio 12 (or even 8/9/10)? What was the first video you made with it?
