This paper examines the current operating hours of the Ellettsville Branch Library (Monroe County Public Library system) and proposes a strategic adjustment to better align with community needs. By analyzing demographic data, commuting patterns, and the evolving role of libraries as community hubs, this paper argues for the extension of evening and weekend hours to increase accessibility for the working population and students.
