The movie follows Chris Gardner (played by Will Smith), a struggling single father who loses his job and becomes homeless with his young son, Christopher (played by Jaden Smith). Despite facing numerous challenges, Chris refuses to give up and battles to build a better life for himself and his son. With the help of a stockbroker (played by James Karen), Chris secures an internship and starts to pursue his dreams.
