Kael opened his eyes. He was standing in a Victorian manor, dust motes dancing in shafts of sickly yellow light. The air smelled of rot and old books. He reached out to touch a wallpapered wall. He felt the texture of the paper, the cold dampness of the plaster beneath.
He took a breath, pulled the visor down over his eyes, and whispered the command. no escape game edition
