This paper examines the design philosophy and architectural output of Arch Studio, a Beijing-based practice founded by Han Wenqiang. By analyzing key projects such as the Twist Mountain Chapel and the conversion of the Hutong district courtyards, this study explores the firm’s core philosophy of "Healing Architecture." The analysis demonstrates how Arch Studio successfully reconciles the dichotomy between nature and the built environment, integrating traditional Chinese spatial logic with modern tectonics to create spaces that offer psychological respite in a rapidly urbanizing society.
