Macos High Sierra: Dmg

It no longer receives security updates. Browsers like Chrome and Firefox have dropped support.

: Right-click on your USB drive and select "Restore with Disk Image". Point TransMac to your macOS High Sierra DMG file. macos high sierra dmg

: Open the DMG file. You'll see a .pkg file inside. It no longer receives security updates

A DMG file allows you to create a bootable drive for systems that cannot access the internet recovery mode or have failing hard drives. macos high sierra dmg

hdiutil convert -format UDRW -o /Volumes/yourusb /path/to/your/dmg

Apple no longer lists High Sierra in the "Purchased" tab of the App Store for most accounts. However, you can still grab the official installer from Apple’s website via a special link:
