Parental love, as Version 1.1, is an honest ontology. It admits that early love (1.0) contained bugs—blind spots, inherited patterns, or defensive coldness. To mark it “finished” is to accept responsibility for the current build; to call it “Version 1.1” is to leave the door open for 1.2, 1.3, or a full rewrite in the next generation.
