Sheldon Cooper (Iain Armitage) prides himself on never missing a day of school. However, his perfect attendance record is threatened when he wakes up feeling ill. Desperate to maintain his streak, Sheldon attempts to power through the sickness to attend school. His family, particularly Mary (Zoe Perry), tries to convince him that resting is necessary. The situation escalates when Sheldon realizes that his dedication to his record might actually be counterproductive to his health and his ability to perform academically.
