Finding the settings is the first boss battle. On mobile, you have to click your profile picture > Settings & privacy > Settings > Preferences (far down the list) > News Feed . The most direct way to combat algorithmic noise is the tool. This feature allows you to select up to 30 friends and pages whose content you want to see most often. When you add someone to your Favorites, their posts are given priority and are more likely to appear at the top of your News Feed.
You remain friends, but their posts never appear in your feed.
