Yanmama Junyuu Chuu ((free)) Today

This paper examines the rarely documented social archetype of the yanmama (young mother with a yankee subcultural background) who actively complies with legal and social norms ( junyū chū ). It analyzes how former juvenile delinquents navigate motherhood, welfare systems, and stigma, using qualitative interviews and media analysis.
