– Anthony Vennare, Fitt Insider

“I love those damn things. The Assault AirRunner, it’s amazing. The idea is that you go and run and it makes running easier sort of like running with weights on, but it doesn’t give you an additional stress it’s not pounding on your body.”

As of late 2023/early 2024, the standoff continues. Tamil Nadu remains the only Indian state with a statutory two-language policy. The ruling DMK government has positioned itself as the defender of Tamil identity, frequently clashing with the BJP-led Central government over alleged attempts to "saffronise" or "Hindi-ise" the state’s education system.

The call for a separate Tamil nation has its roots in the early 20th century, when Tamil nationalism began to take shape. The movement gained momentum in the 1940s and 1950s, with the formation of organizations like the Tamil Eelam Liberation Organization (TELO) and the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). The LTTE, in particular, played a significant role in advocating for an independent Tamil state, Eelam, in Sri Lanka.

The statement was condemned by pro-Kannada groups, including the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike , who filed police complaints and staged protests in major cities like Bengaluru and Mysuru.

Chaos ensues.
