Originally constructed in the mid-20th century as an engineering research building, the structure underwent a completed in 2009 . The $30 million project was designed by the renowned architectural firm EskewDumezRipple (formerly Eskew+Dumez+Ripple) in collaboration with RPI faculty and administration. rpi greene building
