The cast is in top form here. Charlotte Ritchie (Alison) does a lot of heavy lifting acting against empty space, and her frustration with the ghosts' "help" is palpable. However, the standout is Katy Wix as Mary. Mary often serves as the butt of the joke, but her subplot regarding the "bone house" gives her a moment of serene acceptance that is both funny and oddly touching.
