1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die Book [2021] Today
That was three years ago. I have since accepted that I will likely die having seen only 600 of them. And you know what? I’m happier for it.
Some critics argue that:
Some notable films featured in the book include: 1001 movies you must see before you die book
My advice? Stop trying to watch chronologically. Stop trying to watch the "hard" ones first to get them out of the way. Just open the book to a random page once a week. Watch whatever film lands there. No trailers. No Wikipedia spoilers. Just hit play. That was three years ago
Without this book, I would have watched Stranger Things season four for the third time. Instead, I discovered that a movie shot in 28 countries with no CGI exists, and it looks like a dream you had after eating too much cheese. I’m happier for it
The book forces you to develop a taste. You will hate Last Year at Marienbad (pretentious, slow). You will love Police Story (Jackie Chan breaking every bone in his body for our amusement). You will cry during Grave of the Fireflies and then never watch it again.
