The story follows (Sunny Deol), a ruthless hitman working for a local crime lord, Gajraj Chaudhary (Amrish Puri). Karan’s life takes a drastic turn when he falls in love with Kajal (Karisma Kapoor), the daughter of an honest professor. However, Kajal’s father disapproves of Karan's violent lifestyle and marries her off to Raju (Salman Khan), a charming, law-abiding man.
