STR (Silambarasan TR), SJ Suryah, Kalyani Priyadarshan. The Time-Loop Phenomenon Widely regarded as one of the best Tamil films of the year, Maanaadu was a game-changer for the time-loop genre in India. The next phase of his career saw him scale up, working with bigger stars while retaining his core sensibility. Goa (2010) was a flawed but fascinating road-trip comedy that pushed boundaries with its treatment of gender and sexuality, while Mankatha (2011) was a game-changer. Starring Ajith Kumar in a never-before-seen grey-shaded role, Mankatha was a stylish, cynical heist thriller about a corrupt cop. Venkat Prabhu successfully subverted the hero-worshipping template, making the protagonist a morally ambiguous anti-hero who ultimately wins. The film’s slick making, clever plotting, and the now-iconic “Villainism” dialogue cemented his reputation as a director who could reimagine superstars. He followed this with the time-loop comedy Biriyani (2013), a lighter but entertaining film that further showcased his love for playful, genre-bending narratives. Suriya, Nayanthara, Pranitha Subhash, Premji Amaren. The Supernatural Comedy Venturing into the supernatural genre for the first time, Venkat Prabhu directed Suriya in a double role (one being a ghost). Oh, goody, another one. This one doesn't yet have copies of my two KDP books, although it does have one of my older MIRA titles there. Since I discovered my two new books on the Tuebl site a week ago, I've found at least a half-dozen other sites that are also giving away my books for free. I sent Tuebl a DMCA notice, according to the format specified on their site. Yesterday, I noticed that the links were no longer working. Good, I thought. One small step for mankind. This morning, the books are back up there. The problem is that these are file-sharing sites. It's users, not the site administrators, who are pirating the books and handing them out to every Tom, Dick and Harry. So even if the sites take them down, the next day another user will just re-post them. As my husband said, trying to battle them is like trying to bail out the Titanic...with a soup can. Until somebody with real clout does something about this (like the RIAA did for music), there's no way of stopping it.

Once these sites list your book, it can then easily be found "free" via Google. Amazon doesn't "price match" the book, do they?
